At the range, yes. Although the VR Tour is a 400cc head compares to the slightly larger R9, I have less mishits with it and more consistent. The VR Tour is actually pretty forgiving, it's never going to be like a 460cc head, but I was surprise by its forgiveness. I stepped closer or further to the ball to get some off center hits, the results were better than my R9. The ball seems to come off the face hotter than the R9, maybe it's the work of the Compression Channel, maybe it's psychological. Only a LM can tell, but I don't plan on comparing the 2.

I have never played the Proj X 6.0 shaft, it's a pretty smooth shaft. Mid launch and piercing flight. The feel of this shaft and ball flight is very similar to the Fubuki 73 in my R9.

Overall, I am impressed. I had a choice between the Tour and the STR8-Fit, but I'm not a fan of messing with face angle, lie and such, so I picked the Tour instead. Plus, Voodoo isn't a good fit for me and I believe the Voodoo in the STR8-Fit is a made-for-Nike product.

Stock is 45.75", I cut it down to 45".

Just a cheapo Canon G9. Wish I still have my pro gear, I sold them when I quit my photography business.

Hank's grooves are paint filled? Dang! I need to search for a picture of that! I thought about doing that last night, but thought might be an overkill.

Unfortunately, the putter is light. I just bought some lead tape to cover up the entire sole to bring the weight up.
