New changes to the board....I'm liking them!

I must say I'm really digging the new changes to the boards. Everything looks a little fresher and there's new features that seem a lot easier and intuitive to use (eg. the quote feature). Thanks to all the administrators for the great changes.

Is it my imagination, or is it now quicker for pages to load too? I *really* like that.

The new version is all 2.0 and nice. I dont know about the new sigs though. They should just scrub the sigs to remove links and images, then limit the character size maybe. I want to take the link out of my sig but dont want to end up with the new format.

I havent tried any of the functional upgrades, but based on appearance alone, I actually liked the older version better. This is just visual, and it is one man's opinion, so it is really unimportant. The only thing from a functional standpoint that I have noticed, and do not care for, is that the little indicator showing that you have posted in a thread (used to be a small white dot in the little icon next to the thread title) is gone. There are times I have made a post, and forgot the thread name, and in used the white dot to find the threads I posted in. On another board I frequent, they dont use the indicators either, so to find my previous posts, I have to find a thread I have posted in, click on my username, and click on "find posts", then look through the list of posts until I find the one I am looking for. There may be a better way, but I have not found it, and this gets old after a time or 2.

i edited my sig after putting my old clubs in the bag and prefer the older "custom" format. oh well, not gonna hurt anyone.

Use the "replies to my posts" link on the left hand side of the screen. They have actually made an improvement there as well. It used to take you to the beginning of the post every time. Now it takes you to where your last post in that thread was, so you can read what has come in since you posted.

i too had an issue with the new sig format. they did update it so it wont show

if you go into your sig and save again, it should delete it. only issue im having is my WITB link, the text is showing "GolfWRX.com" for whatever reason? i too didnt want to edit my old sig but i do like the new layout of not being able to make the font bigger and i like it greyed out away from the black font on the post. others have gotten out of hand and look ugly. i do like the new website layout. much more modern!
