I love my 52 56 gaping and can hit every shot from 40-100 yards and most chips as well. I am thinking of gaming a 64 wedge for specialty shots for high soft landing shots. Looking at the vokey 64.07 model in tour chrome.

Kills my 909F2. The G15 is ok but too shallow.

Now to order a i15 15.5!

I was there! Looking down at at my lie. As soon as the ball leaves the clubface....Bill says "look at this". I pick up the shot when it hits the green and watch the ball roll close to the pin. From 295 we can't tell how close until we walk up and it's 2 inches. Past the hole BTW. Great shot Bill!

thanks Jeff; I'm not sure I will ever replicate that one. Your 909f2 will be a great combo for you..no worries about a different head. I am going to love this 64 wedge...its great for chip shots. Much better than my 60. I practiced at lunch with it and hit some great shots but bladed 2 of a 100 shots. Need some work with it..I have to tell myself its only for emergencies when no other option exists. Would be easy to hit them all with it. My 60 will now collect dust in my basement.

You guys are pure studs! Great bags and reviews.......... I really want to get the i15 strong (14 degree) 3 this weekend if I can find it. I like the G15 with the Grafalloy Red that I have now, but after gaming the i15 driver last week I think I should probably replace my fairway wood.

3 wood..not for sale! LOL.

much more controllable with 17 hybrid. better wind ball as well. I can control trajectory and get very consistent distances with it. I hit the 5 wood longer but much better with the hybrid..its a 210 yard rope carry for me.

That's great. I hit my i15 20* pretty consistent too and I like it very much so a new hybrid would probably be good for me too.

UPDATE: I replaced my 64/07 back to my 60/06 VR wedge. The 60 is much better for me out of the hard packed sand than my 56/10 and 64/07 vokey with M grind. I have also changed to a Nike Method #3 putter. Its 342 grams versus my #9 white hot XG which is 335. It puts a better roll on the ball and doesn't skid as much. I also sent in my Ping i15 15.5 fairway wood to ping to bend 1.5 degrees flat and to open 1 degree. I think these little tweaks can hopefully save me a stroke or two a round..Getting close to my goal of scratch..currently a 0.5 handicap.

just played a few holes tonight with Method and noticed a big difference versus the #9. It puts a much better roll on the ball. This is great for shorter putts when I can from time to time cut across the ball this negates this and puts forward roll quicker on the ball. I really noticed the difference on the longer putts that it rolled out and finally got all my putts to the hole. I didn't change anything and I ran all my putts 2-3 feet past..much better feel. I hope this gets me to plus...down to 0.1 and counting.

another name change..how low have you gotten kevin? Last year I wanted to get to scratch..only got to 2.5. This year i'm really close. Jeff and I have talked about driving over to Shepard's Hollow for 18 and think you should join us when we go. How's the 54/58 setup working...I went back to my 60 from my 64. I see there is a Laguna 2 SS coming out soon..looks sweet.

Im in for Sheppards Hollow 100% If it's on a weekend count me in. I have a few 73s and 74s under my belt this year but I guess I'll have to wait another year to get there.

54 / 58, 52/56/60, .... All the same. I forward press my wedges so much everything turns into a 52. I hit the ball so low with the wedge that 52,56 is fine. I still have a VR setup (52,56,60) and a bunch of vokeys. I rotate them - Vokeys are better from the Sand and Around the greens (More release) VRs are much better on full shots.

I feel like I have gotten out of my golf ho'ing days. I have had the same irons and wedges for 2 seasons. I have thought about picking up another set..but there is nothing I would want to change from current irons so why bother. Love the 909h hybrids as well and the setup is perfect with 17 and 21 degrees. Just changed to the method for a better roll and slightly heavier weight (335 to 342 grams) at 33.5" compared to my White Hot XG #9 and to take advantage of the roll groove concept as well (and yes it works). I have a 64 wedge to play with from time to time as well, with we could play 15 clubs..damn rules. I hope by opening up my 3 wood to 1 degree open and 2 degrees flat gives me what I am looking for. I just don't really need much. Next year I will probably pick up a new driver, my driver is good but never been in love with it. Just wish the sweet spot was slightly larger and lower on the clubface, but like the low spin head. Guess I will keep my eyes open for a new driver for next spring...I did like the Superdeep though. I do want to try the new Adams with Alpha voodoo and try the new 910 drivers with upgraded shafts. I love the idea of adjustable lie angles and face angles.

My friends don't even know me anymore since I always have the same clubs in the bag..
