Slighter!

any suggestions?

I'm getting a Slighter as a graduation present, i love his new model, the portland, but have been wanting a Kent. What do you guys think?

I too like the new Portland. I have always liked the look of the Newport. My other suggestion would be the Bellevue or the Kirkland. They also look pretty cool.

I'd get one of the protorype Portlands!!!! :)

I have one of the Portland prototypes ordered, they look sweet!.

Tom has already started to change the design of the portland, so you might want to wait and see how the changes turn out compared to the prototype.

The kent is also a classic looking putter, next on my wish list also.

Whichever you go for, i'm sure you wont regret it!

I would go to the portland , classical design similar to anser or cameron newport

If I were you, I would wait a couple weeks to order your putter....................gives me a chance to get my order for my Portland in and paid for...........LOL :)

What putter do you currently use? If you use a heel shafted blade, I would probably go with the Kent. If you use an Anser style, I would go either Tacoma or Portland. You won't be disappointed, either way. You are getting more of a graduation gift than you could ever expect. The process is almost as good as the finished product. Tom is awesome to deal with, I will agree.

Best of luck and don't rush................I need to sell a couple items before I can order my next Slighter. LOL

I own a Needle, Kent and now a Portland is being made for me. I like the feel of my Kent, but I'm sure a Portland or a Tacoma will suit you fine as well. What do you like to look like when you are looking down on a putter? Do you want it plain or do you want it busy looking?

I went with the Kent. Tom lives about 5 minutes from me, so i went to his house/workshop and ended up getting an amazing putter. It is a Kent Copper, 1 of 2, 360g, with the logo stamped on the heel of the face, something he hasn't done on a Kent. Hopefully i'll get it soon!!!
