Stand Bag Rubber Feet

OK... I give up. Where, Oh Where can you get replacement Rubber feet for a stand bag. I've got a Callaway bag that's lost a hoof. Thanks for your help!!

I wanted to revive this thread to see if anyone's found any rubber tip replacements for stand bags. Based on my searches, it seems like most rubber tips that you can buy are 1/2" or greater in diameter which are bit too big for the legs on most stand bags.

I realize you can use layers of double-sided tape to secure a larger tip to the leg, but just wanted to see if anyone's found anything better...

Did you try calling Callaway customer support? I would bet they would drop them in the mail to you free of charge....just a guess though.

Actually, mine was a Nike bag. I did contact them and they do not provide replacement rubber caps for the legs. I can opt to have the bag sent in for inspection to see if it warrents a replacement.

Honestly...the cost to ship a bag (as well as having a box) and hassle is something I'd rather avoid...especially if I can buy rubber tips for a cheap price...

Understand. I am suprised Nike wouldn't send out some caps though. Maybe you can take it to a local Nike dealer and have them inspect it for the warranty relacement? (they might also have a source)

I see via google that many have just replaced with stock rubber caps with ones from a hardware store. 5/8" is a bit big, but they are doing a wrap of electrical tape. To answer your question though, I have no idea of who sells them. Just trying to think around the problem a bit...

I have a Nike SQ stand bag that lost one of its feet; I bought some 1/2" rubber caps at the ahrdware store and popped them on. Worked like a charm, actually better than the originals!

Yeah, Nike has offered to have me take it to an "authorized" retailer in my area to see if they can offer a solution. My guess (based on past experience) is that the retailer will sigh and say there is not much they can do. Which is fine, I understand...it may not be an easy fix for them either.

The 1/2" rubber caps will fit on the legs? Did you have to do anything to get them to say on the legs or is 1/2" small enough to hold them on?

1/2" rubber caps fit perfectly on the legs of the Nike SQ stand bag; snug, won't fall off. I've had them on for a 6-month season, never had a problem. They are better than the originals, cost less than $3 to buy!

Thanks! I just picked two 1/2" rubber caps at an Ace Hardware store for about $.60. Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart didn't have caps that small.

Wonderful solution! Cheap and easy to do. Thanks for your help!! This was much better than paying to ship the bag back to Nike to have them replace the part.

Just bought a new Nike SQ stand bag this month, and also slipped 1/2" rubber caps on the legs. They're much more forgiving on my hardwood floors than the originals!

I tried the 1/2" rubber caps from Home Depot, and it just wasn't working for me--rubber was hard and legs kept sliding on hard floor surfaces. I found these rubber feet for hiking poles at REI, and they're fantastic. They fit snuggly on my stand legs, and they keep my stands from sliding on ceramic tiles. They're built for hiking poles, so they should be more then willing to take the abuse.

I know they're a little more expensive then Home Depot/Ace/Lowe's route, but they're not breaking the bank at $5 for two.

The rubber caps I bought at Ace Hardware were soft rubber much like the rubber feet you purchased.

Found this thread extremely useful. I personally own the Nike ProCombo stand bag (I believe the predecessor to the Nike SQ stand bag) and went to Ace Hardware and bought a 4-pack of the "1/2 Inch Rubber Tips" for $2.64. The caps fit snug and do not believe they will slip off with daily use. The rubber is tacky which is good for smoother surfaces around the house and will definitely stay put out on the course/range (stay away from the vinyl caps).

Unfortunately the products suggested (Gator Feet, etc) aren't really easily available in the UK.

Unperturbed, I searched my house for solutions. I found a couple of spare GolfPride Tour Velvet 360's. As I now have reverted back to Decade multi-compounds, I didn't really have a use for these 2 grips and figured 'why not???'

So, I now have 2 grips on the end of my stand legs!!

Thoughts?!! Figured the GolfWrx community would want to see such a thing!!

[/quote]Great idea thanks I will pass that on to some of my customers. I have actually in the past repaired the handles on golf umbrellas with Ladies grips cut down. I am going to call one of my customers today that grip thing on the stand bag will be right up his alley.
