Best golf shoe to walk in

Everyone I knew swore by Eccos so I bought a pair last year and I wasn't too impressed. A lot of people are suggesting the Adidas Tour 360 4.0's.

 

What everyone’s recommendation on here?

I've used the Adidas Powerband Sport and Adidas Tour 360 Sport for the last 2 years to walk courses. They are more athletic shoe looking and comfortable, especially if you walk a lot. However, as usual with adidas, their color schemes may leave some scratching their heads. But I can pull yellow and red shoes off! LOL I just bought a couple pair of Adidas Adipure Nuovo shoes which are pretty comfortable all leather, but I have walked an entire 18 with them since the course in NCAL are still pretty wet.

Ecco World Class, by far the best shoe I have ever worn. Very comfy to walk in.

I suggest trying several different brands of shoes on.

They all fit differently and you just have to find the one that fits your foot the best. Most people develop an affinity toward a couple of brands just buy trying them on and walking in them a bit.

I'm big on the Nike TW stuff because it fits my foot perfectly, but don't get along really well with any of the Adidas stuff except for the LTDs (who wouldnt?).

I will add that the new Asics golf shoes are supposedly one of the best walking shoes around. I would say if you've ever worn their running shoes for any real length of time, you'll probably like the golf shoes too.

I have a few pair of Asics running shoes and love them, but from the looks of the Asics golf shoes, not sure I would buy a pair. Look to space age for me. But then again, I have been told my Adidas 360 3.0's are space age looking.

Footjoy Contours.

They feel like a running shoe but look like a nice dress casual. Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn and I walk every time I play.

I've owned many Foot Joy models over the years, and by far the most comfortable to walk a round in is the Contour series.

the ones that fit the best.

eccos are by far the most comfortable for me, but thats because ive got wide flat feet. footjoy wides are also solid. the best answer is to try on as many pairs as you can and walk around in them. the ones that fit the best will be most comfortable over 18 holes.

I've got two pairs of 360 LTD's and swear by them, but I would love to try the Adipures.

When I took up the game two years ago, I bought a pair of Stubert shoes that were on clearance for twenty-five pounds (fifty bucks) at an American Golf store. After continuous, almost daily, use they are just now needing to be replaced but remain waterproof. Very comfortable and smart. Clean and polish after every round.
