but don't take this the wrong way...... I laugh whenever I read posts that talk about " our great game".... such time honored and so forth....

while the title of the thread is ironic... calling Arnie King.... because if you really wanted golf to be as it was meant to be... chances are you, me and most everyone on this site wouldn't be playing .... it was a game of royalty for royalty and the rest of us were not allowed to play. So much for traditions

as far as respect goes.... I would gladly respect Arnie with no hat.... any club that has such a rule.... and I still open doors for people

however with all that said..... I fully embrace and accept change.....some has been good....some not as good.... but none the less....standing still sucks
