ANY OPINIONS
I am getting new irons for the new golf season and i was wondering what the best replacement for my 690.CB. I was thinking either the 695 CB or the 735.CM as i have become increasingly intrested in mixed sets. Are the 735.CM's easier or harder to hit than the 690.CB and are the 695 CB any different from my 690.CB? Also i have tried my friends TM RAC TP CB's and like them as well. Can anyone anwser these q's for me. Any other iron options would be welcomed as well.

I have been playing J33 combos for the past year. I purchased a set of Srixon I-506 irons about a month

ago, very good deal on ebay. These irons are great looking and very easy to hit . There also easy to work and knock down. I paid less than $425.00 for mine brand new. For the money there is not a better value out there.

I've never tried the 695's, but I can vouch for the 735's. IMO they are the best mixed set available, and one of the best period. The 735's aren't the most forgiving iron. You know when you don't hit them right, but you definetly know when you hit them good. Easy up long irons, great control on the short irons. Alot of people sell the Stainless steel model short. I have the stainless, and I love it. Nothing against the chrome, but I like the feel of the forged stainless better. ;)

I hit both and bought the 695 cb's!! They are the best IMHO.

The 735's were nice (I only hit the Stainless ones) but they felt a little harsher to me. I like the boring flight of the 695's. The offset is the same in the long irons (only carry a 4 and 5) and they have a skosh more in the shorter irons.

I am recommending these to everyone who asks over the 735's. I am sure you may find others who will give you the exact opposite, but I know what I bought, and that my GIR's have gone up.

Tried the 735's but found them "clunky." Not allot of feedback and even a solid hit didn't feel solid. Unless you're really tied to Titleist, try out a set of Mizuno MP-60's. The feel is solid (if not sweet), with excellent workability. And the feed back superb..... ;)

I definitely agree. I got my i-506's three weeks ago with PX 5.5 shafts (no upcharge) from Golfsmith, who gave me a phenomial trade ($595) for my TE Exotic EX-1's. I was a little nervous that my 14 handicap would be able to swing these sticks consistently; however, I've had no such problems to date. I do miss them a couple of times a round, but they are very forgiving as loss of distance is not as great as other irons in their category. They look very clean at address, and feel is superb. I really do think that these irons are one of the most underrated out there, especially given price ($699.99 retail). Also, this price includes about eight options for shaft upgrades at absolutely no upcharge (not too many companies out there that will do that). Best of luck with you search.

mixed set: Nike PC's... yes Nike. It seems most titleist guys will not even look at them. but if you go in with an open mind you won't be disappointed with these clubs.

CB's: MP60's , there is no better feeling CB in the market except for maybe Miura. forgiveness, feel and workability in these clubs, thin topline and minimal offset.
