Bent grass green in Myrtle Beach?

Are there any courses that have bent grass greens and if so what are the layouts/conditions like? Played there a few times but never ran across any courses that had bent.

Quite a few do. I have not been down there for a while, so I hesitate to make suggestions.

Many of the courses in the list provided above have converted to a strain of bermuda. Tif-dwarf was popular there for a few years, 2006-2008 but more people have been going with the mini verde, tif or champions. It's more cost effective for the courses and you don't have to spend all summer stressing about your greens dying or root rot.
Our tempurate climate can sustain both bent and bermuda greens but the weather isn't perfect for either. We have to overseed ther bermuda in the winter and kill it off in early summer, transition time is rough! Bent is slightly overseeded in the winter and then you have the issues with 95º and 90% humidity. They both have their +/-'s.

Stay away from the Ocean Ridge Plantation Courses (Lions Paw, Panthers Run, Tigers Eye and Leopards Chase) they're having a tough time with the heat and a fungus got them. Lots of sod patch's and etc ... they'll be fine once the heat subsides and they're making a big push to be in premium shape come October. So for now, stay away from those 4 ....
