You know, this is an interesting question!! I play a Newport II and love it. However, I also have a Taylormade Monza Corza that I can not and will not part with. That to me, The Monza Corza is still the absolute best mallet ever made. I have tried them all. I think the only one that came close was the Spider, but I can't stand to look down at that thing... haha

I haven't gone thru every post on here but I am gaming a mallet that I doubt gets much love, but for me its pure magic, the putter is the Nike IC 20-20. It has been sitting in the corner of my local pro shop since its release (2007?) and I started to feel sorry for it, over there all alone. A few putts later and a deal was done, told my mate who works there I was doing him a favor by taking it off his hands and managed to snag it (brand new) for a bargain price of £39. Its good to give it what it deserves, a home and plenty of love...... well at least for now.

I have been gaming a NC NCX-RAY ALPHA for the last couple of months, Not the best looking of the bunch, quite large, but sets up nice and at 365grms puts a great roll on the ball. My playing partners give me a little ribbing on it but I can out putt them all day long. Took a few rounds to get used to it but well worth the time spent and I got mine new for under $40 bones and if I can get a deal over the winter might grab another.

I've been gaming a Cameron Fastback 1.5 and love it. If you don't like face-balanced putters, this will work for you. The 1.5 Fastback has about the same toe-hang as a Newport or Newport 2. A great choice if you are moving from an anser style putter to a mallet.

Just picked up a 33" Corsa ghost with a giant winn grip on it and rolled it today on 9 holes. I'm still a bit skeptical about honeymoon period etc but this putter got it done from all over the green and will go in the bag for a few full rounds at home. This is the first mallet i have played for 3 years and so far i am liking it.

Although I posted here around #50, I want to add two more to the list. I was cleaning out some old items from the basement and ran across these two putters:

Ben Hogan Baby Ben.

PING Doc 12.5

Both can be picked up at a bargain and will definitely improve the putting of anyone who is sruggling and has the nerve to bag them.
