Ping G15 demo...

Got fitted at Golf Galaxy
Well, I just turned 63 and am returning to the game. My driver speed is down around 90 and my 150 yard work is done with a 7 iron. I came to the conclusion that it matters not that in an earlier life I had a 20 handicap; now I struggle to break 100 and keep the ball in front of myself. I was in the market for a GI iron set and Ping G15's just keep popping up. I never have cared much for the way Ping's look, but you can't deny thier popularity. So, I went over to the local Golf Galaxy and those folks had me sized and fit pretty quickly; White dots with 1.5" added to steel regular shafts. Next I moved over to the launch monitor and hit balls till I was worn out. I must say: I have never seen such consistancy from my irons before. I gave up a little distance in trade for the tightest lateral dispersion I have ever seen. Friday morning I will try them outside and see what happens...

BTW; try this website for great prices;

I also, just got back into the game (last year) after a 15 year lay-off. I bought the G-10's and really liked them. I just replaced them last month since I got my HC down to a 7 and wanted more of a players club. The G-10's an G-15's are considered 'Super Game Improvement" clubs but still give pretty good feedback for off-center hits.

Hope you have success with them.

Ditto's here too, been away for 10 years, filled the bag with G15's, woods and irons. I have never hit a driver so effortlessly and on the money in my life. The irons are right there too, Ping did it again!

Makes me question your motives in posting this, especially since you misplaced it in a classic clubs forum.

1. I'm 6'5" tall.
2. I was not aware of that knockoff website: thanks for the heads up...
3. One of the great things about the net is the large number of folks who seem to think they can read hearts and minds and motives.

64 yrs old. Been playing Pings since 1984. Not being a jerk. Just FWIW in the future, NEVER buy ANY Ping product that is cheaper/less expensive than anyone else. It's probably a fake or used,at best. Ping holds a tight reign on their accounts. They set all the prices, take it or leave it. You sell for less they yank your account.
I may be corrected here, but I believe Titleist is the same way. Ping just had a price cut on G-15's and the I's. Sure enough, every price I've seen is the exact same. Hey, we've all been burned one time or another over something.
