I got my first eagle!

A couple days ago I was qaulifying for the 6 man team because they have 1 junior on it, I didn't make it and played like crap but anyways.

 

The first hole of the firstday I teed off at 7:18 and was kind of nervous about how I would play but I hit a drive and it landed in ground under repair so I took my drop in the fairway. And took out a 4 iron from 140 out and hit a perfect shot that was dead straight at the pin. So I walk up there and ask one of the guys I was playing with if my ball went over and he said I don't think so it was dead at the pin and he said go look in the cup but I didnt believe then he was 5 steps away and looks in and says its in and I go "bull s***" and hes like no check and theres my ball sitting in the cup. Needless to stay I was very happy haha and I wanted to share it with you guys.

very nice, I remember my first eage...

i almost had a hole in one yesterday.

150 yard par 3 i was 4 inches from the pin, and lets just say i won closest to the pin in my league and took the money that had carried over from alot of weeks :cheesy: :)

ya its really exciting I remember my first eagle, I chipped in on a par 5 to beat a friend I was playing in match play 5&4....on nine holes :cheesy: (I won my dollar back) Great Job!

Nice job! I'm still looking for mine. It's getting pathetic; 16 years old, 7 handicap and still no eagle. I've been on the lip at least twice and I've had dozens of tap in birdies, but still no eagle. My best chance came a drivable par 4 (it was drivable that day because the tees were moved up) and I put it on (256 yards, it was a really good drive) about 15-20 feet away, but missed the putt. Made birdie though.

Oh yea the sad thing is I forgot to put the ball in my bag and I put it in the woods on my drive on the 7th hole..needless to say I am still getting teased about it..haha

I actually got mine this tuesday on the first hole of my golf course. 534 yard par 5, I spanked a driver down the pipe, then hit a 4 iron to 20 feet. I canned the left to right putt right in the center of the hole, and went nuts after that.

 

I acutally teed the ball up on the next hole, then said outloud as I took my address "Woah, gotta save this ball," and I put it back in my bag. It was close for me, but at least I still have it! :drinks:
