Why do my adds always get deleted???

I spent good time last night typing up my for sale add and wake up this morning only find it's been sent to the "trash can" for what ever reason. I do not understand why? I had pictures, multiple ones at that, showing the clubs in detail and with prices on everything. If it's because I'm simply missing one picture of a 3 wood, thats matches the 5 wood I have pictured exactly, then that is really not fair IMO. If it's that big of deal to be missing one picture for some 18 hours(I even said I would add it later), then instead of completely deleting my add a little heads up PM would be nice.....I'm sure it wouldn't take that much longer to sen a a courteous

"heads up" PM than it does to go out of your way to delete the add..Or maybe just delete the one item thats missing a pic, as i know the mods/admins have the power to edit any post they see fit.

 

Why was it deleted and is there anyway you can move it back so I do not have to spend some ~45 minutes out of my day to type up another add? If the missing picture is that big of deal I will make sure to leave out that item.

Well you kinda answered your own question. You didn't post a pic of an item. Essentially there is a no tolerance policy in the BST. Violate a rule, even a teeny bit, and the ad is deleted without warning. The idea is that it's not the mods (some of who are volunteers) responsibility to edit/correct BST posts. It's the sellers.

They created the BST rules and expect us to stick to them I've missed that a few times and been punished and also forgotten about the one for replying to posts where someone's looking for equipment with something I have that might interest them. I've been pinged twice for that so I'm being good and making sure I remember not to.

When I open up a new ad I always keep a copy of it open in a browser window so that if it is deleted I can just copy and paste it back in and rectify what I missed, they're just trying to keep the board clean and safe and I guess it's easier to press delete for the whole ad then edit it. Kinda serves you right for not following the rules as well.

It's a FREE BST so it's not like we're losing anything by using it so we should try to abide by the rules
