Pretty fun golf trips coming up

Looking at our calender my wife and I have some fun trips planned. She will likely golf on a coulple of the trips, but I will play a couple rounds on each trip.

November Scottsdale, AZ...I have a tee time at We Ko Pa - Saguaro course and will likely play Longbow or something similar.
December, Portland, OR...there I will play Stone Creek and Langdon Farms...should be pretty raining and colder than I'm used to.
January we are headed to Honolulu...likely playing Koolau and either Kapolei or Luana Hills. My wife might sit out Koolau, she's not interested in playing one of the hardest courses in the US.
March, Tucson, AZ OMNI Resort not sure which course I will play...possibly both. Any suggestions for the Tucson area will be greatly appreciated.

And finally the trip I'm most excited about...Bandon Dunes. Playing Bandon Dunes and Old Mac at the end of March.

Should be a fun few months....I like having some things on the horizon. Gives me something to practice for.

Again any suggestions on courses and restaraunts...anything will be much appreciated.

If you are coming to Portland in December, we will be glad to see you. Your choices are good. I play at the Reserve Vineyard and Golf Course and we welcome you, too. But, do bring rain, snow, nice temp wear. We have worse public courses here than the two you selected.

Our December weather can be frost delay, nice but cold, miserable with rain and wind, or, mirabile dictu, balmy and sunny.

The Reserve's restaurant is good for dinner. But if you are staying downtown, there are lots of great restaurants, just ask at the front desk. Let me know what you do. I love it here, but the feedback from visitors lets me modify what I would recommend to others.

Hank...thanks for the feedback and offer. I will have to look into the Reserve Vineyard. When in Portland we stay with the in-laws that live in Beaver Creek. That is one reason I chose the two courses I did. Not too bad of drives.

If you are going to Bandon I would highly recommend you play Pacific Dunes over Bandon Dunes. There is a reason it is the #1 public course in the country.

If you are staying at the Omni, skip the new course(Sonoran), not terrible, but a bit quirky, play the Catalina. If you want to go cheap Crooked Tree is just down the street. If you want to play nice, the Ritz isn't far from you there as well Vistoso, Conquistador, and Dove Mountain and the Gallery, but I can never figure out what's public and what isn't? Anyway, lot's of good golf on that side of Tucson.

Secondary...thanks for the Tucson low down. I wasn't sure which Omni course to play and what other courses to look at. I think I will do Catalina and Crooked Tree.
