Ashley's Big Break

Duramed FUTURES Tour member Ashley Prange of Noblesville, Ind., will kick off her new four-episode show on The Golf Channel next week. The show will be a documentary chronicle of Prange's preparations for her LPGA Tour exemption following the finale of "The Big Break V: Hawaii" show. By winning the Big Break V show, Prange earned an exemption into the Safeway Classic, set for Aug. 18-20, in Portland, Ore.

"Cameras have been with her since the show's finale back in the second week of May and it's an eye-opening series," said Brendan Havens, producer of next week's "Game On: Ashley's Big Break."

"It shows what it's like for a lot of the players on the Duramed FUTURES Tour and it's a window into how someone deals with sudden fame and attention while they're still trying to focus on what they need to do competitively on the golf course," added Havens.

The premiere dates for "Game On: Ashley's Big Break" will be: Tuesday, July 25, 9:30 p.m. (ET); Tuesday, August 1, 9:30 p.m.; Tuesday, August 8, 9:30 p.m., and Tuesday, August 15, 9:30 p.m.

The shows will feature behind-the-scenes footage taken over three months of filming showing Prange's preparation for her LPGA Tour debut, as well as the ups and downs, tournament wins and missed cuts, since she won "Big Break V: Hawaii."

Saw Ashley play (well 2 holes) at a Duramed Futures tournament. Now there is a lady that needs a wardrobe assist. She was wearing the same lime green overly-tight too short skirt that she had worn during the series. Not good. Now Becky whatshername is just a little mite of thing and can blast the ball a mile. She was easily 15-20 yds ahead of her playing partners. Unbelieveable -- and it was a long poke. I'll probably watch the program, primarily because TGC is a staple and sort of curious to see what sorts of things Reimuth has her working on in prep for her coming out party.
