New SV tour wedge or not?

Have a set of nike VR/FC irons love them but im thinking of replacing the AW with a NIKE SV TOUR wedge 52* bent to 51*. I have the 56* SV and it works very well.

What do you guys think?

Try the forged Vr wedges, the olders ones can be had for a good deal now! They are excellent! But the SV arent to shabby, give it a shot!

I would say hit all the wedges your interested in into a net and see how they FEEL because they will perform similarly unless you are a pro that can notice the difference in performance. [i]Take your own ball that you game everyday cause this will provide you with some feedback that you can take to the bank.[/i]

Keep in mind though that the SV Tour wedges are forged from a buttery soft 8620 carbon steel while the VR forged wedges are from a slightly firmer 1025 carbon steel. [i][u]The only thing that will provide a more consistent feel/results and workability would be along the lines of the MIURA Wedge Series and similar quality wedges.[/u][/i] Notice the grind and appearance of the SV Tours and MIURAs', although the hosel on the MIURA, thanks to its "spin welding" process will provide much more feedback than the SV Tours.

I've been gaming the SV Tours since the day they were released(52'/56'/60') and I'm finding it very difficult to take them out of my bag for anything other than maybe a new set of MIURA wedges. What I'm saying is the feel is great in the Nikes but I can't vouch for the quality or pattern of the grain of the 8620 carbon metal and technique on how they were forged which is exactly what makes MIURAs amazing. I've attached a photo to show a comparison.

P.S. Stay the H$LL away from the Nike V-REV CAST wedges, the feel is absolutely awfull.

the sv tour wedges are serious clubs. they have a smaller profile, thin top line, awesome finish, feel great and spin like hell. ive been wanting to pick up another one for a long time (used to have a 58 and wore it out...), but somehow i wound up with callaway. perhaps when i replace my sandwedge ill spring for a sv tour. but honestly, i cant say enough good things about them. very underrated.

go with the sv i played them this season and they are great one of my favorite all time wedges and they can be had for 59$ new at dicks sporting goods.

This whole post is way off. To start the SV Tour wedges are [b][size="3"]cast[/size][/b] from 8620 and the VR wedges are forged from softer 1025.
