Staff bag for storage?

How do you guys store your extra clubs?

Starting to become quite a club hoe and just wondering how you guys are keeping your extra sets of clubs? Been thinking about getting a nice full size staff bag, that way theres something else nice to look at along with my extra clubs

I always wanted to do this... maybe after the holidays I will treat myself but for now I stick with the cardboard boxes... lots of cardboard boxes

I picked up a used Cobra staff bag for $10.00 off of Craigslist over the summer, and that's what I use.

Yep I use a titleist fitting works staff bag I picked up at my local club for $50. Its a great way to store the extra clubs.

Using a new '10 nike staffer for storage. too bad i really don't have much of a collection anymore. Next i'm getting the '11 Scratch staff bag to match the gamer set.

I use a couple of staff bags in the garage that I picked up on sale (used & new) to hold my hybrids, wedges, drivers and woods.
I use ball bungee cords for my iron sets as storing them in boxes was taking up too much space and it was a hassle when I wanted to put them in play.


Putters are in a closet inside the house so I don't have to go to the garage to get them when I feel like practicing putting on the carpet.

I use a couple of older staff bags I bought at a garage sale and have them in the hitting area I put together. Good thing to have when friends come over and want to hit a few.

A few years back when I use to travel for my business their was a small golf shop I would stop at. One day when I stopped I found out that they had closed up shop. there was a guy cleaning out the place and he was throwing out 2 free standing club racks. He asked if I wanted them so I took them with me. I use one and gave the other to a friend of mine.

I am good with not being a total whore, but I have a few things I cannot part with.

I have a Titlest staff bag in the garage to hold it all. Works great and much better than a couple of stand bags leaned up against the wall. Much more sturdy and cool looking too.

If you really want to see how it is done you need to go back and look at easy's WITB section. It is awesome and something we should all strive for. It takes up his entire basment (which must be huge) but is quite impressive.

I have a couple of staff bags from my days a golf pro to maintain all the excess.

Uh.. I think the 'ho' in club ho, gets its origin from 'hobbyist'.

I've always wanted to start a poll to see how many people thought that being a 'club ho' meant being a whore.

Now I'm not so sure if it gets its origins from 'hobbyist'

How do we search the interwebs to find out who coined this term and find out its true origins??? Maybe this can be the next contest/giveaway from WRX?

friend of mine that played on tour recently moved...didn't have room in the moving van for all of their old golf gear--especially staff bags. Needless to say, I snagged a few for just this reason!

I wouldn't ever pay retail for a staff bag, but I do use my cart bag as storage unless I know I'm riding the next day.

Laundry basket. Nice solid plastic rectangular jobbie I got at Target or WalMart or some such. Holds more than any staff or cart bag and you avoid marking your clubs with the stigma of having thrown them in a garbage can.

Old Callaway Pro Shop Racks. One is like a fitting cart with wheels and a small glove box. Other is a standing floor rack

Ive picked up a couple of Staff Bags cheap at Golf Galaxy when they have their crazy clearance sales. Should be one coming up in January. I picked up 2 Odyssey and 1 Heavy Putter Staff bags for less than $100. Keep and eye out, no one wants them anymore unless you are a club hoe like me!

Yep, all 3 for under $100 got them in Schaumburg, IL. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the prices. They had a 75% sale and those were included. My wife went crazy when I brought them home!

I'm not a guy who throws things away so I have a lot of old clubs that I keep in their old bags, standing on a wall in my room.

I've been shopping for a large diameter PVC pipe that I can cut to proper length to store cl;ubs that were bought without a bag, but am still thinking on a proper see through cover to keep dust out.

several years back my club was redoing the mens locker room and updated lockers, so for sweet $20 i got 2- 8ft lockers in my garage, thats wht i use, for xtra clubs, bats, etc....
