I've been testing out the VR Pro Blades and the Titleist 710 MB, thinking that I would end up liking the 710's, I found myself surprised at how great the Nike's are. These blades are a big step forward for Nike. I found the VR's to be more forgiving, easier to control, and having a nice crisp sound when making solid contact. I struggled with distance control with the Titleist, which left me guessing which club to use. With the Nike's the distance was consistent giving me the ability to attack the pin, thus going for more birdies/eagles.

Just received my VR Pro Blades (lefty) with Dynamic Gold S300s and love the feel and forgivness of these irons. Mishits still fly on the intended line with little loss of distance. When struck flush, feel is second to none. I also own Mizuno MP 68s and Callaway Razr X Musclebacks and they all feel almost identical when hit well. I'm hard pressed to tell a difference between the three. Several times I had to actually look down to see what iron I was swinging because the feel was so close. Nike has a winner with these beauties!

I absolutely love mine!

As a matter of fact I have two sets of them...

I ordered my set last year with the KBS Tour X (soft stepped) with the Black Oxide finish, and found out that the finish on the shaft scratches fairly easily...

So I ordered another set this year in the chrome, unfortunately I accidentally ordered them 1/4 short instead of 1/4 long...

I love the turf interaction, classic look, and feel of the ball coming off the face...

The 3 and 4 are the pocket cavity, which I'm considering just getting the blade instead...

There's a few more items I'd like to add........... When struck well or even just fair, these irons flew high and straight. Getting the height from these irons wasn't difficult at all and in fact, that thought never crossed my mind. I just swung and made decent to good contact and had the feel of a flushed forged blade iron, time after time. If I made a good tempo swing and hit them anywhere near the sweetspot, These irons really felt great and performed beautifully. A couple of shots were hit slightly off the toe with the 6 and 5 iron and my hands were not punished at all. In fact they felt very similiar to my Titleist AP 710s when mishit slightly. A great iron from a great company.

I am new to the site every time I search for reviews I ended up here. So now I am on the site. I am looking for a set of nike vr pro blades and want to know the pros and cons to them all. I have hit them at a demo day and loved the feel of hitting them sweet. The real kicker for me is to go out and get a used set or wait for nike to drop a new set of blades. A little history about me. I have been golfing since I was 8 I'm 24 now and on average I am a 5-10 handicap and always played cavity backs until I started hitting forged blades from mizuno, cobra an nike trying them out and recently I got a chance to hit some bridgestone j36 blades they all feel sweet but I am a nike guy at heart. The vr pros seem easy to hit from 3-pw. But big question here is nike dropping new blades this year, or shoul I go with the vr pros?

Thanks in advance guys

Nike new forged irons usually come out in late summer August - September every other year. The Vr line is already discounted and Nike is done taking special orders for these. So keep watching in the next couple months you should see some post with pic's of the new ones.

These irons are awesome and I love them. I am a 4 handicap. Very soft and beautiful. Have played through 3 sets of Nike Forged blades, and 2 sets of these. Switching to titleist for cavity back set though.
