Topic removed from BST?

missing something?

hello,

i posted a new topic on the bst board and it's gone a half hour later... did it get pulled for some reason? Pretty sure I'm following the rules.
If not what did I mess up?

An old ad may still be open. Check your topics. Happened to me a couple times.

I was looking at other people's posts and that seems to be the most common issue. I had one a month ago but I thought I closed it. I just went back to it and it is locked, I'm assuming that means it's closed? There is no "green close button" available to me that everyone is referring to. Hmmm, never had this happen before and I've had a half dozen topics on here.

Not to take anyone's side (one particular topic on this issue got pretty heated) but it would seem to save lots of everyone's time if the ads were approved or set aside for editing instead of deleting them... granted I don't know the ins and outs of how this site works so I could be wrong. Just a suggestion...

Your Ad appears to have been deleted due to the fact that you are attempting to sell non golf items.

Be sure to refresh yourself with our B/S/T rules. Those most frequently violated rules are non golf items, listing more than 10 items, having more than one sales Ad open, and relisting unsold items in under 30 days rule.

hmmm... ok, use to see golf-related items like dress shoes, jackets, etc. on here all the time. I guess that's being enforced now... sounds good.

If you see items of that nature then please report them using the "REPORT" button on the infringing ad.
