new ideas to improve

Looking for ideas to improve our mens night, we have about 20 guys of various caps from plus 3's to about 18. wondering what games you play, do you play different tees, change up the groups. any ideas r good, thanks TIM

usually the only fun way is birdies birdies birdies

usually my friends (low handicappers / scratch ) go up against my dad and his friends (10 to 20 handicappers)
we usually let them play from the front tee's and we play from the back tee's.
this usually evens out the score at the end and makes it pretty exciting.

We play a year long "Ringer" board. Best score you get on each hole throughout the year. Great fun and gives everyone a chance each and every night to move up the ringer board. We also have Closest to pin, and 1st to 3 rd place team prizes by using the callaway scoring system (handicapped to make it fair).

As I was playing yesterday with a friend of mine we came up to a situation and we both thought that a "reverse mulligan" would be fun. One time per round you can make your opponent retake a shot/putt whatever. It would be fun.....and it would be fun to see if you can replay a great shot.

Love the reverse mulligan idea! Definitely gonna work that one in to our best/worst vs. middle two skin game.

I play with one other guy mid-week each week as a twosome. We're going to start this this week. One reverse mulligan per 18 holes. Though we may exclude putts, maybe. We have to talk about that one. I think I'd rather use it only off the green.

My regular 4some on the weekends, we only play $1 skins on the par threes. With carry-overs on ties or missed birdie/par, and this is because the skin can ONLY be won by the closest to the hole/on the green and a birdie or par MUST be made. No 3 putts and lucky 40 footers for a birdie skin : If everyone misses the green then its a carry-over.
