Ordering a Titleist 585-H Hybrid

Which heavy hybrid shaft!

I'm ordering the new Titleist 585 through Discount Dan's. Currently playing a Sonartec MD 19* with an NV85. But want to go with a slightly heavier shaft this time. Called Titleist and some of the options include:

Aldila NV105

UST V2 90/100

Fuji 904HB

I prefer a lower ballflight, so don't want a shaft with a low kickpoint. Leaning toward the NV105. Any other recommendations?

The V2 or 904 are really good values for the 585H. Saying that, I think it depends on your swing speed and characteristics. The 904 is pretty penetrating flight for me.

I've tried all sorts of graphite in hybrids but I keep on going back to the good old fashioned True Temper Dynamic Gold, nice weight and keeps the ball down. For years I keep on trying the latest and greatest but keep going back to this good old standard because it just plain works. I liked the 503h about twice as much with the S300 then I did with the NV.

I'll be the odd man and say that I did not like the 904 in any of the heads that I tried, but the NV105 is a keeper...and this is coming from someone who does not like the NV/NVS series. :help:
