2009 Nike One Tour

Worth the outlet price?

I have a Nike Outlet in the town next from me and last week they had the 2009 Nike One Tours for 19.99 + 40% off. So basically $12 bucks a dozen for these balls. I have never used them but I am going back tonight and was wondering if I should stock up on them. I normally play the B330 series and was curious how the Nike matched up.

Is this a steal? Or should I save my cash? I will probably pick up a dozen for the hell of it, just needed to know if multiple dozens would be a smart pickup.

that's a no-brainer steal. they're a steal @ $20/doz, let alone $12/doz.

Great ball for that price! Sam's Club had the One Tour and One Tour D for $12.91 a dozen several months ago. I bought 3 dozen of the regular One Tour on a whim having never played the ball, and man was I surprised! I played the regular One Tour for a couple of rounds and it spun a bit too much for me, so I traded those in for the Tour D and it has been firmly in my bag.

I know the 20XI is coming out in another couple of weeks, but it will have to be super special at $45 a dozen to knock the Tour D out of my bag. I hope they continue discounting the Tour D so I can stock up.

Edit: Buy several dozen of the Tour D if they have them. If you don't like them, I'll gladly take them off your hands for $15 a dozen!!

Thanks for the quick replies. I will be going back tonight to wipe them out haha. I will check and see if they have any of the Tour D's as well-never hit them either.

The Tour and Tour D didn't change since they came out (2009). and yes, they're a steal at that price. I'm still gaming the One Tour, and it's a fantastic ball at $30 a dozen, let alone 12.

How come I always read about these deals but never run into them myself? I guess some people just have all the luck....

Trust me...I went to multiple Dick's Sporting Goods looking for the 20 buck Srixon deals but never found any. This is the first actual golf "deal" that I have found in a retail location in some time, and it is not even a golf retail.

I too got a few dozen during the Sams deal. Didn't like the Tour but to be fair I have never liked any balls with multiple mantles. The Tour D was excellent and probably the longest urethane ball I have ever hit. However, it felt too hard off the irons which is why I am not playing it (very similar to the TP Black LDP).

$12 for any major OEM urethane ball is a great deal.

still using the one tour D that i got from that sams deal. i think i bought like 12 boxes, haha. really great ball, jump on that deal, a premium ball is a premium ball

I just stopped at mine.

All they had was Mojo's (didn't look at price), One Blacks ($19.97) and vapors (didn't look at price). They didn't even have any sort of spot or anything for any newer of a ball
