Tourstage Irons-which one

Z101 ,TS201,TS202 ,MR 23

I have narrowed down my selection to the above four models.

Would like to hear comparisons regarding :
-Looks
-Forgiveness : I'm a 15 HC getting better
-Performance : I'm not looking to work the clubs!

Also I haven't seen any one of these in person,so perhaps you could give some information on how these look like.Whether the sole grinds have special features to help "non-diggers" like me.

Also whether all of these are forged by Endo or not.

I beleive all are cavity backs :Some seem more like semi blades, others seem to have a channel Cavity Back like the Mizuno MX23 irons.

Would really appreciate any detailed info from those who have played these irons.

I would suggest trying the new 905m irons. Great irons for a mid hdcp.

[size="3"]Are your MR23 the US model? Do they have channel back cavity or is it a "solid" cavity? How do they compare to the Ts202's- in terms of size, looks , and forgiveness? Could you put up some pics showing close ups of back,face and sole?

I have had all four sets. On the forgiveness spectrum my 202/Tour Concepts are the most forgiving, by far, of the four sets. The MR-23 cavity backs are the least forgiving, probably due to the small blade size. The 202s are significantly larger than the 23s. I sold my two sets of 101s which, for me, were not exceptional in any category other than feel. The 201s are the hardest to find but are worth the effort. The muscle pad in the cavity provided really solid feel. Unfortunately, my 201s were stolen. All great irons, but in terms of playability my order of preference is 202, 201, 23, and 101.

I will be on the lookout for the 202's in Regular Flex- either Graphites,or Steel ,but shafts have to be sub 100gr weight!!

Ah! You've cut me to the quick! The Tourstage Z-101s are my favorite of them all... .And the TS-202's are my second favorite...

how are the 703's

703 are great set for mid-hcp. Mid size blade length, thin top line with minial offset. Looks appealing at address, you can work with the ball both ways easily.

By the way, this is kinda off topic, I'm selling my current Tourstage 703 4 to PW with NS pro stiff shaft. Let me know if you guys are interested, I'll email you the pictures. I'll post this in the for sale forum tomorrow
