Looking for Clearwater - Tampa area must play courses

Looking for great courses in Clearwater-Tampa area for 1st week in June. Four of us are going down for a 3day golf trip. Staying at a buddies condo in Clearwater Beach

Innisbrook-Copperhead; Fox Hollow, Cheval, TPC, World Woods-Rolling Oaks/Pine Barrens; are all great and close to Tampa/St. Pete, here's a link for others:

Thanks All,

I booked rounds at Innisbrook (36- Islands and Copperhead), TPC (36 - 18 + replay) and World Woods (36- Pine Barrens & Rolling Oaks), so we should be good and worn out after all of that. Any items you recommend that are must brings? (bug spray, suntan lotion etc...) I figure on it being HOT & HUMID, used to that being from Texas but at least we won't have the 20-30 mph Winds! :-)

Having just played both Rolling Oaks and Pine Barrens within the past couple weeks, I may reccomend you cancel the Pine Barrens tee time. Their greens were terrible for them. Spongy, soft, slow. Normally they're pristine and fast. Rolling Oaks on the other hand were incredible. Firm and fast, when they used to be slow and questionable. The test for PB greens is going to be the big putting green just north of the driving range. They were identical to PB.

Bring a lot of water or other fluids. You're used to the humidity, and you'll have a breeze which'll make it somewhat bearable.

You might want to check out Lake Jovita, preferrably the South course.
