Let me just throw out a random date (that fits my calendar!) - Saturday, June 18th. How does that date sound? AM/PM tee-off? Hmmm, any way to add a poll to an existing thread?

In between Poughkeepsie, Rockland, White Plains, Brewster...

Centennial - $135
Hudson Hills - $115
Putnam National - $69
Garrison - $90
West Point - $62

Closer to Poughkeepsie - Union Vale
Closer to Rockland - Patriot Hills, Spook Rock, Mansion Ridge
Closer to White Plains - Dunwoodie, Saxon Woods, Sprain Lake, Maple Moore

The above lists aren't meant to be complete - just some names I can think of. Any others, particularly that lie in between everyone?

I think as long as we had a few foursomes, we could pretty easily get this together. If the list really grows, does anyone have any experience with "group outings" at any of these venues?

I am a member at Westchester Hills in White Plains. I'm new and don't really know the process for setting up an outing or what the costs would be. It's a possibility though if people were interested.

I'm not sure if you guys have ever played The Links at Union Vale...it is a great track- it's about 10 mins of the Taconic Parkway and if you find the right deal, one of the best bargains I've ever seen...and I'm not saying this because I live in Poughkeepsie, haha...just truly a great course and a great price.

Let's see if we can get a few more Hudson Valley WRX'ers to check in and show some interest - see how many people would be interested in an outing. The thread has plenty of views, but only a handful of posters.

I've played Unionvale..... nice greens......FAST if you catch them at the right time. This is a great option to consider. Last time I played there my buddy had a hole in one on the 3rd hole (I believe it was the 3rd).

The only problem with a sat. is it can get pricey on the weekends...Ill loook into some prices, but I think we would be much better off doing a weekday, pm time (they have a good twilight deal...). Just played it last week and shes looking beautiful...greens are rolling so true (fast, too).

I grew up in the Valley and played a lot of those courses. Unionvale is still one of my favorites. My Dad still plays Garrison (also great tract) regularly and says they have really good twilight deals. Thought I'd share that with you guys. Easy access off Route 9 for the Westchester/Rockland guys and the Po-town folks. Have a fun outing. Cheers.

Totally blanked on Father's Day / US Open that weekend.

Maybe we find a different day? The problem with doing a weekday is that it's an hour north of Rockland/White Plains. So that's a day off from work whether we are teeing off in the AM or twilight.

Yeah, I can't do a weekday either because of work. Weekend is ideal for me.

Garrison isn't a bad course......tight in spots.

I'm playing Casperkill this friday (took a PTO day)........always liked the layout there and the prices are reasonable.

I'm still in for Unionvale though....
