Harding Park - Best Deal?

I live in SoCal but my daughter attends SF State which is literally across the street from Harding Park. I plan to visit her soon and would like to play, but I hate to pay the non-resident rate. Anybody have any ideas that could help save me some money on green fees?

Send some of your bills to her address. Then pay $90 for a 2-year residency card. $62/round pays for itself in 1 visit. The process to get your residency card is quick. Takes about 15 minutes and you get the card right away.

Yeah I am a SF city resident who calls Harding my home course. My drivers license says my old city but I brought two bills to city hall and got the card for 90, like the guy above said, pays for itself the first time. Just send your cellphone bill and bank statement to her house for a month and bring those over in the morning if you have some time. They print the card right there.

And once you get the card, they send you the option to renew the card via mail, so you don't have to keep going to City Hall.

Buy the way, most City Hall employees really could care less what type if bill you present them. Just don't go at the first of the month, the controller's office is packed with people paying other bills.

Yeah I happened to work right by city hall so it was super easy. Go anywhere outside of the first week of the month in the afternoon and it will be a ghost town. I had to use two utility bills and used my comcast bill and my rent bill, so they accept some weird bills as well.

Just kidding. It's a very good point. OP, is it really worth the hassle? It seems like a lot of trouble to go through to save money on a one-time green fee.
