Tour IZ vs B330

I currently play the B330, and love it, perfect spin off the driver, irons, would like a touch more around the green, but Ive learned to play for a touch extra run out, however with the Buy 2 get 1 deals on the Iz, I'm tempted to switch. Has anyone played both and can compare the two.

The older Iz is definitely not going to offer more spin and feel in the short game than the B330. The 2011 iZ (with the capital Z in the side stamp) is at best a push when compared with the B330. Tested the 2011 iZ against the newest B330 and couldn't find any discernible differences in performance at all. The older i-z is definitely going to feel firmer and spin less in the short game.

As always, your mileage may vary so I'd suggest trying a sleeve of the Callaway before jumping on the 3 for 2 deal. As stated, just be sure you're getting the ones with the big Z in the side stamp (2011 update).

thanks for the reply, exactly what I was looking for...I actually like that the B330 around the greens, the extra roll out doesn't bother me. It took some getting used to, but now I love it.
