Help me design a setup for my garage

I want to do a setup in my garage, electronics, net, etc.. Cannot afford a simulator for 50K, but what is the next best setup???

There are some sims for less than $1000 the P3ProSwing is the way to go for cheap.

Are you talking about training or entertainment?

 

If you are going to put in a sim, you might want to put in some video equipment to work on your swing too. I find it pretty entertaining in the winter here in Chicago to turn on the painter's lights and hone the swing. It makes the first warm day in March so much more enjoyable.

I have a 3-car tall garage ceiling. I put up a a 10x10x10 net "cage". Only hung the square top and let the rest drape down. I have a Fiberbuilt range mat with removeable "grass panels as a stand. You could get two cameras, and LCD screen and use V1 software. Otherwise, you could spend the money on a vector too.

And you absolutely have to get a Truestrike mat (www.truestrike.com). Compared to regular mats these are just a quantum leap forward and much more forgiving to your wrists vs. regular mats on a concrete base. If you are installing a launch monitor, then I would say one of these mats would be even more important as the spin characteristics are much more realistic. In fact I think I've convinced myself to go an buy one!
