Anybody play Promontory or Victory Ranch Club?

I played the Dye course at Promontory and Victory Ranch about 2 weeks ago and I can't say enough good things about them. They are both beautiful courses, that were in fantastic condition. The layouts were challengine but fair. The greens at Victory were quick, and challenging for me, but again, they were fair. I am no exper (about an 11 handicap), but I have played some nice sourse (Harbourtown, Bethpage Black, Kapalua, Pacific Dunes) and in my laymen's opinion, these two courses ranked up there with the best of them.

What amazed me was that both courses were practically empty. Both times, I went out as a single and there were very few golfers on the course. It felt as if I had the course to myself. While neither one was cheap (I paid $190 for Promontory and $150 for Victory), I thought it was well worth it. Victory had a special where you could play a second round within 48 hours for $50.

I know this was quite a while ago... but did you just go as a walk up? call ahead? Friends with a member? I've lived in SLC my whole life and both are known to be very exclusive clubs. Boy what id give....... :telephone:
