Have you ever been to one?

Have you ever been to an indoor driving range? What did you think about it? Where are some nice ones? I want to check some out sometime.

in pittsburgh we have a indoor range and it is awesome in the winter or when it is raining. Nice to not freeze your butt off and hit ball. this one is a bubble with two decks of tees. The button is good to hit all clubs, short irons will hit roof pretty easy if your a high ball hitter. Upper level is super easy to hit roof but still nice to use the place.

There are a few golf domes where i am (chicago area) they are decent, but they are only about 150yrds long. but the one i go to has vey very nice putting green, and separate chipping green

nice one 5 min away, I never use it during the season but man, when there's 16 inches of snow in the forecast there is nothing better than have a place to be able to go hit balls. This setup sounds exactly like the one Sheppy described. 2 decks etc.Plus there are a couple simulators. No nice putting green, there's an indoor "bunker" but the sand is just nothing like bunker sand. its so soft and fine and fluffy. So it's GREAT to have the "Dome" but it SUCKS that I'm gonna need it soon. Winter bloooooooooowwwwwwws
