iron shafts

I hope i can get some help with the differences between the DG x 100 and the KBS tour x steel shafts. Are they comparable? Most sites say the KBS has a slightly higher ball flight than the DG. Weight is about the same. Any thoughts or preferences would be great. I am buying a set of s56 ping irons and i am not sure what shaft i will get. Thanks!

I have hit both shafts with adams cavity backs in golf store.
DG's had firmer feel and hit lower.
KBS had softer feel and hit just a little higher.

Hit with eyes closed....... alternating clubs without opening eyes.
I liked the KBS feel a little better.

Buy the one that you think you want more, then buy a spare club (6 iron) shaft it with different
shaft than the rest of the set.
Take both to an outdoor range and hit off real grass.
Use same kind of grips. Same kind of balls. You will lean one way or the other.

If you can't decide. Buy two sets and shaft them with both, then use the one
with higher trajectory for rain or cold weather days.
This prevents bugs in your head of indecision.

P.S. For me it is all about feel. I don't care about names

Wrong subforum.
Sorry for being THAT guy, but when you look into the regular "clubmaking" forum, you can see why this one was created. It is called "Average Joe swings stiff and below" for a reason. However, I have noticed that lately, more and more questions about X-Flex shafts and 110+ mph swing speeds are being asked here, which is not in the spirit of the game, so to speak.
Please leave us guys with puny swing speeds a small place in which we can feel normal.

I would have to agree with one of the posters above. The kbs are definitely much softer and although i didnt think the ball flight was very much higher than the X100s I could tell a difference.
