3 wood shaft

Need some help picking a shaft for my TEE CB4 13*. Currently have the stock RIP and I'm hitting it higher than any club in my bag, with no roll. I've always read that TEE woods were the longest, but I'm not seeing it in this set up. Used to have the same problem with my driver, but got fitted and picked up 25 yards, so I'm confident the right shaft will help.

Here's the caveat; need to keep it under $200, so that means no fitting and no super high end shafts. Project X line up Is looking like a possible winner. Any others? My driver SS is 98-100, smooth tempo and natural ball flight is left to right. Thanks for the help.

As your driver shaft is fitted and working well id be tempted to try a 10-20g heavier tipped version in the 3w. Other than that it would be hard to beat a second hand Nventix Nunchuk. Saw one go for $50 on eBay the other day. Ive got one in a CB2 and game it from time to time. it launches lower and spins less than the heavy whiteboard in my regular gamer. It would suit your swing speed.

Do a search on this site and google for his shafts. Also, 25-30 bucks is downright affordable.

A big +1 to both of these. I've played both and they're awesome fairway shafts. Personally, I hate the RIP. I also think that the BB is one of the best fairway shafts ever. Just choose your weight.

I've also been experimenting with a PX 8A4 in my JPX 18* and it's almost unfair how good it is. All of the shafts mentioned can be had for way under $200. The 8A4 may be too much shaft, so pick a different profile. Remember that the retail (5.5, 6.0, etc.) are all in the 60g -69g range. You may be better served going heavier.

Or even xcaliber FW shaft in stiff flex might even work for your case. $30 per shaft...or you can get the tour version of FW shaft for $35 from golfworks.

you can do some search around here about xcaliber shafts, and you will find nothing but good reviews from folks who are using them currently.
