Need recommendation - $$ no object

Currently have a reservation for this Wednesday at TPC Stadium course but I've heard the course conditions there aren't the greatest. Where else should I consider? Money is no object (it's a client entertainment event).

You may have deterred others from answering with the "Money is no object" statement. There seems to be a subtle current of angst directed towards those with means on this site.

My favorite is Grayhawk, but you really can't go wrong with any of the TPC courses out there. I can't wait to retire and become a snowbird.

Stadium, in my opinion, is nothing special other than the fact it hosts the whatever it's called now, tournament.

Is it still FBR Financial that hosts the tournament at Stadium?

Tpc Stadium is one of the more over rated courses here. If your clients are the occasional players and would be more impressed by playing a pga tour course then it will be ok, but not so great conditions. If your clients are more into golf then take them to wekopa saguaro or troon pinnacle. But check overseeding

I should have been more clear. Money is an object for me but the 3 folks I'm taking out are golfers and so figured I'd better pick someplace nice.

Troon North and The Boulders are two courses that stood out for me when I played late this summer.

To the OP - glad u liked Wekopa. Both courses are great and fun to play.

Played desert highlands in August, phenomenal place, played legend trail and TPC champions course. Desert highlands was the best, but the champions course is nice too. I really like stadium course, the hole layouts are great.

Can you pay a green fee at Desert Highlands now or is it still only accompanied by a member as would be interested in playing there in my May trip

To my knowledge, they don't accept public play as a general rule. Never hurts to call however.

1. Quinterro - Hands down the best daily course in Phoenix. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it.
2. Troon
3. We Ko Pa (Prefer Saguro course)
4. Boulders
