BMW Dubsdread Course Review

Well not really a review but I played today with my dad. We played the tour markers (the paint was on the tee boxes from each day). We played the Final day tee locations. The course was in fantastic shape everything was pure. They started slowing up the fairways tho (we did get hit by a ton of rain sunday night into monday morning) So I was actually losing distance on my drives by the balls spinning backwards lol. The greens were around 11 to 11.5 on flat ground. THEY WERE PURE as PURE CAN BE. I mean you hit your putt and they just tracked. The rough around the greens were umm tasty 4-6 in thick of just nasty blue grass. If you can get out and play the course before next week they will be punching the greens. (They punch different only half of each green at a time)

 

The course really didn't play that long every par 4 but 3 of them were in the 440-475 (#5 485)range. The par 3's were only pushed back to the 215 mark none were at the back tee boxes. (None of the days did any of the par 3's play over 220 yes there are two par three's they can push back to 250 to the center) The par 5's were in the 530 to 600 range. I really screwed up on 4-8 tho.

 

Now to score--- I shot 80, made a birdie on 9. Missed birdies on 5-6-7-8-10-12-15 (wish I knew how to hit 10 footers, on 12 I hit it to 4 feet and missed lol) I have never played a better maintained golf course in my life... ( played pebble,TPC's,spyglass,poppy, much more too) IF I could get back out there again tomorrow I would lol.

 

IF you guys or gals have any questions shoot lol. I did go looking for some balls in the ponds for tour balls no luck. It was a 5 hour round but we expected that so it was not a issue.
