There are two courses at WeKoPa. Better than Saguaro?

Saguaro is more wide open. Quintero is definitely more challenging. I'm not sure which one is better. Love both.

Quintero over Saguaro... When Quintero was at its prime 5 years ago it was awesome.

Cholla is the more scenic, hilly, and difficult than Saguaro, which was a Coore/Crenshaw designed for walkers in mind. Cholla is awesome, but Quintero is even
slightly better. WeKoPa doesn't allow carts in the fairways, which is a pain because it takes 5 hours to play a round there.

Cholla more scenic? more difficult? Not sure about those statements.

They are not allowing carts on the course for now, they will eventually allow them back on.

My problem is family scheduling and I usually don't know until the day before that I will be playing. 2:00 sounds a little late as the sun sets ~5:00. However, $50 is a good price. I belong to a local courses "Champions Club" thru OB Sports Management and they offer a great reciprocal play price at Eagle Mountain and WeeKoPa, both around $75 and $85 respectively. You might even consider joining Eagle or WeeKoPa to get that deal, might be worth while. My course here offers 3 rounds for free which ends up more than covering the $150 they charge to join plus a host of other discounts and perks including the reciprocal play deals.

Anyone played here recently? I'm thinking of playing here on Wednesday, but want to make sure it is worth the $90 fee from golfnow.com. If you've played, please comment on the course and the condition. Thanks!
