New Toy- C&L Putter- 350 Milled

Got Cheap off of Ebay, Chip Usher Restored it to a Beauty

Okay,


So some people will probably not like the design I chose here, but I wanted something different, and I love it.



I bought a 350 Milled putter off of Ebay, Cheap (Under $100).



It was a little rusty because the Original Owner had Stripped the finish, it was too long, had an odd shaft (UST Mamiya FF), and a grip I didn't like.



I contacted C&L Golf and asked for help. I was greeted almost instantly by the owner, Chip Usher (Who is AMAZING to work with).



I told chip that I want the works done on this putter, and the paint job to be crazy.



Two weeks later (4 weeks ahead of schedule I might add)- I was sent a note saying that it is done, and it has shipped.



Also, if anyone is wondering, nearly 1/2 the price of refinishing a Cameron- And he will work on Camerons, Bettinardis and others.

What I had done:



Refinish Putter in Oil Can Finish

Add Snow

Repaint Crazy Colors

New Headcover

Shorten Shaft (UST Mamiya FF Putter)

New Grip

I was going to do a similar project with chip once but sold the putter. nonetheless, he was great to speak with and really sounded like he knew his stuff.

Sweet stick man.


Chip Usher is the man. I was working on Nantucket last year, was flying home to NC for 4 days. I called him and he put together 3 Miura wedges to my specs the same day and mailed them overnight to my home in NC. I got the wedges for Christmas, a most unlikely feat. Chip is top shelf.
