Where

Who besides Never Compromise offers customization of current putter models? I'm not talking about restoration like Cameron custom shop but custom brand new putters.

Sunset Beach Putters. Milled in NC, Lamont in Arizona finishes them off with an artful hand. He can do anything, and I mean anything. My two customs were made by him. One of which was a one of a kind, "first article", based on the Masonboro line, looks a lot like Masonboro 2. You dream it up, Lamont can make it. The SSB line has a lot to offer. Most folks could just pick a model and choose the type of finish, hosel, paint fill, lie, length, etc.. and have a very custom putter. You can do more if you so chose.

There is also Machine (my personal favorite) Tom Slighter, Byron Morgan, TP Mills, 350 Milled, and Edel just to name a few. They all seem to build terrific putters. I think picking one just comes down to personal preference. I'm getting fitted for a Machine putter tomorrow, can't hardly wait. I'm like a kid at Christmas

Edel is a great suggestion. A guy I may get a putter from at some point. His fitting process is the reason, putter are putters at the higher levels. His fitting is how he decides which putter head, neck, weight, grip, sight line, etc.. fits your stroke and your aim bias. He is likely not the one doing it, but has folks using his fitting system that send in the info, your putter is built, then sent to you. Very attractive system as many of us use ill fitting putters. My worst fear is he suggest something other than an plumber's neck anser style putter to me and I have to sell my collection on Ebay and start buying flowneck mallets. Like waking from a bad dream. Perhaps I should stay away from Edel. ha ha...

I had a GREAT time getting fit for a Machine and hanging out with Dave at the shop!!! The amount of time, detail, craftsmanship, and TLC that is put into these putters is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I am EXTREMELY HAPPY that I decided to get a Machine.
