Las Vegas CUrrent condition request January 2012

LEgacy, Angel Park, etc near vegas strip

Fellow Golfwrx'ers. Golfing first week in Feb. 2012. Looking for you locals to provide me with course condition updates.
I've played Legacy few years back, would be my preference cause golf now has $75 1PM rate.
Bears best is possible 2nd,
angel park is fallback, unless you'all can provide me with course within 20mile circle of HIlton convention center that is in pristine shape and has green fee's around $ 100 (my golf partners are on a budget, or I'd be playing Wolf!!)

Badlands and Silverstone are in good shape right now and both should be less than $100. If you have the time and a rental car, Primm Valley is also a good option

I really suggest you load the boys up and run out to Primm Valley. The 2 courses there are really really good. The Lakes had some of the best greens I have played on in a few years. Great layout and lots of fun.

you should be able to do better than Legacy.

legacy is not in pristine shape. far from it. although it gradually improves until it peaks in may for the so nv am then it goes back downhill.

Also Consider:

[b] Stallion Mountain[/b], played there last week and surprisingly good conditions, one of the closest courses to your hotel.

[b]Boulder Creek[/b] - Very nice greens and and the rates are not excessive for out of town folks. Rarely busy.

[b]Badlands[/b] - brutally tough desert target courses always in great shape, great deals on GolfNow.

No matter what, check out the rates on GolfNow.com (best site by far for Vegas tee times), then call the course and see if they will beat that rate.
