Long Island Public Golf Course Finder

Find a public golf course near you.

I wanted to make something that would act as a "one stop shop" for finding a public golf course for Long Islanders and for those who may be visiting the area. It's a custom map for all the public golf courses on Long Island. Complete with course information and directions. It is available on your mobile device as well. I wanted to include prices as well, but proved to be too difficult as there are a number of courses that have resident and non-resident rates. Also, courses are constantly changing prices or running specials that it would take an small army to update. Ok, maybe not a small army. To get around this problem I've added some other features to my website to help keep people informed about Long Island golf.

Nice map. You should fix the label that says "Westchester Courses" to say something like "Northern Suburbs" because you've got courses in Orange, Putnam and Dutchess Counties mixed in with the Westchester courses. You could also add the Bergen and Rockland County courses, most of which are closer to LI and NYC than some of the ones you've included. e.g. Blue Hill, Spook Rock, Patriot Hills, Rotella, Rockland Lake and NY Country Club
