Unlimited monthly golf

Recommended Posts

looking at possible relocation
I'm thinking of moving from the Big Island of Hawaii to somewhere in the mainland and was wondering if there is any places (i'm sure there has to be) that have unlimited golf for a monthly fee. The municipal course over here is $55 a month for unlimited play. Just have to pay $1 each day you play or $3 on Weekends and holidays.

Any other deals like this out there? Please let me know the city, state and courses name;)

The Villages in FL offers "free" golf on their executive courses. I actually don't mind the executive courses. Sometimes I won't tee a ball up that day to get "practice" out of "fairway-like" conditions. Occasionally I've even hit balls off of the front or side of the tee boxes to get that slope practice, too.

If you don't mind the STDs, it's a nice place.

I pay $50 a month for unlimited range and $18 for a round after 3pm (cart included) in Dallas. I thought that was one hell of deal. Good luck trying to top your deal back home. If every city had more places with those kind of rates (even if the course is short and beat), I think more people would pick up the game.

In my area I think it will be nearer to $75 or $95/month than $55 although last I heard the course operated by my home county was in the $50-some range for those over like 65 or 70 years of age. A bit higher for the rest of us (which is odd as the retired 70-year-olds play twice as much golf per month as I can while holding down a job). But yes, there are public courses which offer a semi-private "membership" plan.

I played at one for nearly a decade, something like $58/month (back in the 1990's) and I played about 90 rounds a year there. Quite a deal, all considered. Since then they've built houses all in and around the course, eliminated nine of the 27 holes, let the conditioning slide and upped the monthly fee by thirty or forty bucks. I guess a decently maintained, mostly non-housing development course for that kind of price was literally too good to be true. So it's not true any more...

I figured it would be hard to find another place with a deal like the one that my muni has but i would be willing to pay $100-$150 a month if the course is decent. Beats paying $20+ a round especially fir thw amount that I play lol. Then agaon depending on my qork schedule I may not get to play as much :/ decisions decisions......

Wow you guys are so lucky. In my area, its almost impossible to find a weekend round (one round not a whole month) with cart for under $80.

I live on a Del Webb course in Ocala, FL Stone Creek Golf Club. They have a deal where you pay 30 bucks for a card for the summer. And then its 18 dollars after 1pm or 15 dollars after 4pm. I have my own cart so not sure about cart fee or not. Its a pretty decent deal. I played a muni course this morning and they charged me 28$ for golf and a cart.. and I was a little concerned that I might get something from the grass.. cause it didnt look good lol. (Pine Oaks Ocala) , then i came home and tried to figure out if the 77 I just shot (13.1 index) was a fluke .. so i hopped in my cart and went down to my clubhouse and paid my 18$ and played here.. 79.. so apparently not.. :partytime2:

They have a deal where you can pay 300$ for 3 years of unlimited golf i believe.... but the catch is you have to buy a house... i was so excited when i saw it and asked them about it .. and they were like well you'd have to buy another house.. doh..

Forgot to add typical green fee at Stone Creek is 28.

Do you know where you are going? My dad is a member of Canongate (ATL area) and it includes over 20 different courses. Check it out: http://www.canongategolf.com/

I was stationed on Oahu and I wish they had a deal like the one you have. I played all the miltary courses because of how cheap they were but they are phenominal courses.
