Fast and Firm Greens

What type of ball is best suited for firm and fast greens? I normally play Titleist ProV1/V1x and Taylormade Penta; which (if any) of these would be suited for that condition? Normally don't play firm and fast greens but the course I will be playing this weekend is in the process of killing the greens to convert them so I was told that they will be very firm and fast (rolling in the 13-14 range).

i think it depends on the length of the approach shot you plan to play, if its a short course and you plan to have a lot of short irons and wedges in, then any one of those ball should be ok...if its long and require more mid and long irons in i'd say the prov1 will spin more on mid-long game shots.

the Penta and ProV will be your best choice as suggested. since you don't play fast greens very often, one recommendation i'd make is to club down one on approach shots and shoot for the front (or the fringe) and hope it doesn't roll too far out. i played a course with similar conditions and before the round, the club pro told me to check the ego and not attack the flags on those greens that day - play the roll out.

he probably saved me 5-7 strokes that day.
