Freddy Couples using a BRIDGESTONE DRIVER!

anyone know what it is?

it looked like either the J33R 420 or 460. it looked a little big to be the J33P, but it couldve been. it was definitely a bridgestone. i saw a shot of the heel at setup and it had the B logo on the outside.

..and it had that sweet bstone sound.

whatever it is.. it's workin cause boi boi can't miss.

yes, i saw that too and quite frankly was very suprised considering how long he has played the 510tp and 580xd tp. oh well, all good things must come to an end sometime.

 

interested to see what he's playing now.

I think he's been using it since Bridgestone Invitational. And, I think most of the people who have hit this driver (420 cc) agree that this is some long driver. You just need to have enough power to generate enough amount of spin. I've had all of the 3 models and had the best result with 420. It sounded best, too, in my opinion.

Correct. The Speeder 757 is his favourite 'old school' model from 2002/3. He likes this shaft so much that he grabbed an armful from the Fuji tour van earlier in the year

As far as I remember, still using the S2H2 3 wood, Bridgestone cavities in 2-PW, similar to his trusty TM 300s, and an X-Tour SW. Last phots I saw were of a 588 lob wedge, but there were some shots of him whacking balls with a Vokey wedge, with Mr Vokey himself looking on...

not all of them.. I've still got an old 'un in my 3 wood. Much prefer it to the grafitti-ised new graphics...

 

I like aplain look to my shafts.

 

Although the UST V2 is a doozy, despite the colours.

I still hark back to the days of my old barnstormers with the shafts of yesteryear... The Aldila HM-40 and HM-55... The Taylor Made Flex Twist (in my gamer 3 wood from 1991 to 2004) and the original Bubble with the oh-so-hard-to-get-replacement blue cord grip...

 

And my all-time favorite driver... A 44" Taylor Made Burner Plus with a Sandvik Ti in it....When a 280 yard drive was a monsterous clout from the tee... The memories...
