I'm assuming your misses are pushes and hooks? Check the video between the 11-13 second marks. This is essentially where the problem is most visible. This happens for a couple of reasons. You will struggle with getting the club "stuck" behind you, which forces you to flip it through impact.

There are tons of different drills for this. Try feeling more body rotation, keeping the club out infront of you(over the top) on the way down and feel like the shaft goes immediately left after impact(these are all feels, you won't actually be "over the top" nor will the shaft be going extremely left). Yes, I definitely feel like I am getting stuck and pushes and hooks have been my primary misses for the past few months. If the rain lets up today, I'll go hit a few balls and try to work on that motion of coming more over the top. Until then, il just take a few practice swings inside

I like your swing very much actually.

I would say you need to work on sequencing. You are slightly off sequence on the downswing (hard to tell but it looks like your upper body moves first on the way down, forcing you to throw the club at the ball at impact. You can still play good golf with this swing, but you can get great with a little work on sequencing.

Here is a video update from yesterday at the scenic driving range on the sun. Anyway, thanks for the feedback so far. I have actually been hitting the ball rather solidly the last few days. However, I feel I am still really struggling to get a full followthrough with the ball, which is likely limiting my consistency and preventing me from playing at a higher level. I agree with you bacination that it looks like I'm throwing the club too much at the ball, which might possibly the cause of my lackluster followthrough. In the last part of my video, I tried to keep my hands a touch closer to the body, so I could be more connected through the shot, but I'm not sure it helped(although I did hit a good shot).

Keep throwing stuff at me! I'm liking the critique's so far


- Oh, I also tried to limit the swaying in my swing, which i think was a huge problem in how I used to swing the club.(see old swing videos for reference)
