How do you like your midsize grips?

Always liked the feel of midsize grips but stayed away from them because of the old adage of prohibiting release and promoting fade. I think the thoughts on that are changing and the difference is so slight I can,t see an issue and think it might playing and holding clubs a bit more comfirtable and promote a lighter grip. Just put a DriTac Wrap midsize on backup driver and see how that goes before going further. Arthritis isn,t that bad but frankly been looking for a reason to tinker. Have you tried midsize and what's your opinion?

FWIW....i wear a Cadet M/L glove. I use the lamkin 3gen in midsize with 2 wraps. The larger grip does exactly as you said, helps me use lighter grip tension. I used to tend to hold the grip too tight.

I have been playing a lot better and strking the ball better after i changed my grips in size.

Mid-size grips help reduce my hand and finger pain because I don't grip the club so tightly (don't know why one tends to grip the thinner grips more tightly). I have a full set of mid-size tour velvet irons and then, belonging to another set, several irons with mid-size golf pride new decade multi-compound (these are the best in terms of pain relief), and several irons with a tacky winn grip also midsize. All help but I still need ibuprofen. I also feel that my swing is more consistent with the mid-size grips.

I also wear a cadet ML glove and have had the midsize grips now for about 4 years. This is the only way to go for me ... more comfortable, lighter tension, and no hooks. Whenever I pick up someone else's standard grips now, they feel like pencil thin by comparison, even though the difference is not that great. Very odd. This is one of several changes I made to my equipment and my game over a period of a few years, to get down into the high single digits, and I have stayed there.

Also wore cadet ML-sized glove back in the day. Since switching to midsize wrap-style grips (now also into the Winn DriTacs), grip pressure's lessened so much I don't use a glove any more. It's the perfect feel for me, anyway!

I use Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize grips because they are the proper size for my hand size so that my two middle finger tips are just touching the palm of my left hand. Glove size is Large
