serious playing time w/ unitized putters?

they have a very nice feel but i would never pony up the bucks for it.....im a t.p. mills guy until the end.

I like the look and feel of the Ping Redwood line better than the Nikes.

From what I have seen, the redwood line looks great, nike should have their putter prices alittle lower because this is their first milled putter, before the unitized, they had the Oz which weren't as popular as many other brands, they should also have some differant models of the unitized,the only one I would consider playing would be the teimpo, the other ones make the Futura look pretty(exept the retro)

Several replies, but none on topic. Imago-Dei, I'll PM you tonight my experience from my past two rounds and today's round. I'm playing a course today with greens that are generally always in good shape, so I hope to have good results.

I've putted for 4 rounds with a borrowed Retro & i loved it, good roll, great feel & i putted very well.

 

Use Answer 2 style so I am waiting on my Tiempo to arrive, this will no doubt be my gamer.

 

 

On th point of cost... the other putter companies are taking you for a ride with price as they use glue to stick head to shaft... the process of 'Unitized' is not a cheap one so putter is priced accordingly.

try & if you like buy... you can't take your $$$'s with you!!

i know its been covered before, but i was looking for replies from people who actually played multiple rounds with it. not just on the green at the local golf shop.

I have the retro and really like it.

 

My feel has improved and I have made more putts.....

 

I am in the process of pulling putts again but this time it's not the putter!!
