Ben Hogan Bettinardi Putters How Many Models

Does anyone know how many different models of Ben Hogan Bettinardi putters were made? I have contacted Bettinardi but they say they did not keep records ?? And Callaway is no help.

I am also looking for any old ads, brochures ,catalogs of Hogan putters by Bettinardi if anyone has I will be glad to pay for them.

Hey, I sure don't know but I did buy one of their Baby Ben Mallets. I can send a pic if that helps.

I'll take a shot at this from memory. I may have missed a model or two but I think the list is pretty comprehensive. You can Google Ben Hogan and the model number to find pics.

I'm giving this old post a bump as I have a BH / Betti that is not on the list....

A BHB4-CC-H...

I am sure the "H" is for heavy, and roughly calculating it is about 20g heavier than my standard BHB4-CC.


Does anyone know anything about these putters, and how many were produced?

My favorite, and the one I own, is the 1953 commemorative model. I believe it was one of the only two DASS models available.
Really nice putter. I don't game it but have it on display in my golf room by all my Hogan stuff.

That's a nice one... I have the other DASS one, the BHB5-SS. Got it from another WRXer, but honestly don't even know if I have putted with it once in the 6 months or so that I've owned it...

Hi, a lot of this is from memory, single malt tainted memory at that but, here goes.

You putter sole should be stamped like this "BHB4.CCH" which indicates the following

BH = Ben Hogan
B4 = just the model No. but, this is exactly the same shape as the original Bettinardi BB18
first C = Soft Carbon steel head
second C = Copper insert, Oh yes it is copper, its just plated in 18kt gold which is why it doesn't oxidize
H = Heavy @ 360 grams head weight

Sorry I don't know the numbers produced but, I do know Luke Donald used a BHB5.CCH when he was in college at Northwestern

This putter should feel buttery soft from that copper insert and 360g its gonna iron any kinks out in your swing, will also let you cut her down a couple if required.

Don't know about the brochure but I have a Ben Hogan Bettinardi Big Ben BHB 7 that I absolutely love!!!! I already have a thing for putters and actually switch putters too much..., but this thing is staying in the "playing" bag.

Still game the baby ben, cant find anything better. I just have so much confidence with it, and the alignment aids are perfect for me.

I switch between my BHB5SS and my BHB5CC depending on the greens. SS feels more firm, so I use it on slower greens and the CC ceels softer, so I game it on faster greens. Love the look and feel of these clubs. Just need Hogan to come out with a new Driver and my bag will be all Hogan.
