Driver/Shaft help

Looking for a little advice on my driver/shaft combo. I have the Razr Fit, 10.5*, with Fubuki 63 shaft cut down an inch. I got it over the summer and love it, but have noticed my ball flight is a little higher than I would like it to be. After a couple sessions in a simulator, I have been hitting my three wood (Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15*) consistently further with better ball flight specs all around (see below). So my question is, to get my driver distance back, is a shaft switch in order? Or would putting the extra length back in help get my swingspeed up a little? The other thing I was thinking of trying was some lead tape/heavier opti-fit weights to increase the swing weight a bit. Am I just missing the sweet spot and need to dial it in?Thoughts?

What's your swing speed?

Try a lower launching /low spin shaft. I play a Matrix Black tie 7M3 and a fujikura motore speeder tour spec vc7.2. Both gave me added distance and lower spin.

Swing speed is hovers around 110 mph, occasionally get up to 114 on that perfect swing, but 110 is pretty consistent.

In terms of a lower launch/spin shaft, something with a high kick point would be in order right? I hit the black tie today actually in the new RFE, launch was still a little high, spin was a bit lower though, 3100 ish i believe

I think the more experience fitters on here would tell you that if you want lower launch, go with a lower lofted club. Any reason you can't go to a 9.5 degree head? That is going to have a bigger impact on how high you are hitting the ball, over the shaft. You may also want to go to either a heavier shaft or a stiffer shaft. I would probably go to a fitter with a good reputation and have them evaluate your swing before tinkering with your equipment.

I have my Razr Fit set at open, so the loft is decreased a bit, I was just seeing if there were other options shaft wise instead of getting a new clubhead. Spend a little less money ya know? And the last fitter I talked to told me I was right on the border/ a little under an x-stiff shaft. I may just bite the bullet and upgrade to the RFE as it has the Black Tie as a stock option

By the way, if I could hit my 3 wood 278 yards, and hit it more consistently than my driver, I would get rid of my driver altogether and put an extra wedge in the bag.

I actually had my driver avg up around 285-87 in two subsequent sessions, so I think that first one was just an off day, but I still think I can get some more out of it. I am figuring this gap problem out clubwise, then tackling what wedges to bag this season.
