Hahaha. You selling? Golf gear that is.

A couple of us guys were talking about how nice it would be to have a way to post what we're selling here locally....another forum Im on (not golf related) has that search function in their For Sale subforum so you can filter out just AZ. It makes it nice if you dont like paypal/shipping/etc. I know for higher end/nice equipment, Craigslist isnt always the way to go here in phx. Maybe we could PM a mod to see if they would care if we have a local "BST" thread. Im sure for some reason it would be looked down on. Maybe they could have a state filter or prefix added to the BST. I have a decent amount of gear I want to sell but hate the hassle of shipping/boxing/paypal/etc and hate when I see that people were scammed, like has happened recently. Id rather meet up at a range, let you try it, and then exchange.

Simple fix could be to add another filter to search by and add each state so when a user posts an add they can select their state and other members could use the filters to search by state

i keep threatening to sell some gear since i've got WAY too much (as i sit here opening another ems package from japan)! i actually brought a couple of sets of epon irons and a few jdm drivers on sunday that i was going to show/advertise but couldn't bring myself to do it. after playing as bad as i did i threatened to sell everything after sunday, lol. i keep telling myself that showing was simply because i was so sick last week (lost 8lbs) but that's besides the point...i really don't need multiple sets of top-of-the-line jdm equipment (even when i am playing well)! i'm not too worried about the hassle associated with selling online but you're right, it sure would be easier to sell locally.

Exactly. I guess we could tag our craigslist ads with GOLFWRX until they added that feature so we could search CL and filter our stuff that way.

She is working on them. She said she took like 600+ pictures so she is working on getting them out.

Here is a teaser I stole got from her. She still has to watermark them and center a few. The WITB didn't turn out very well. She didn't get everyone and didn't really know what to photograph so most of those are going to be axed but there are plenty of photos without those.

Did not putt well at all, had about 5-6 putts six-footers that I lipped out. Thinking about going away from the belly.

Calvin, I've got the belly too, switching for my round Monday. Do you find that when you're putting well with the belly, that you can't miss? And on off days, you can't make squat? That's kind of how my belly has been, either hot or cold, whereas my standard putter just stays kind of lukewarm always haha

I've never thought about it that way but that's exactly it! I couldn't miss with it when I first initially switched, lately it's been a little sketchy.

It happens dude, I think some of my worst rounds have been in these things ( had a nightmare round at grayhawk ) and who knows why

One of the best golfers I know usually bags two putters. If you think about it, look how often a putter is used.

He side saddles 15' and in, and uses a 34" odyssey outside of 15'. If one is off, he can switch mid round.

I had this conversation yesterday with a local instructor over lunch, talking about "honeymoon" sessions with a putter and how switching between my three has become a bad habit. It's all mental! Lol
