I saw a guy with a bagging Callaway at a coldwater tourney who had to be 370 + off the tee's

Blake had one of the most impressive drives I've ever seen, it was on # 17 at Aguila. From the tips he carried it into the back left bunker face. That's pretty much 325 in the air into the face. I've driven that green a few times but to fly it into that bunker is a serious thump. Well done Blake!

I wish I was that good. I'm to the point where I'm considering lessons to patch up the small flaws that are keeping me in the low 90's

Screw what outfit Im going to wear... I need to pick a driver from the 4 in my bag. 18 is the limit right?
And while Im screwing things, screw demo days and the lack of quality shafts and launch monitors.
I show up ready to order a new club and there's one launch monitor and it's at the ping tent...and Callaway doesnt have a single black tie.
Im not throwing down $400 and later finding out my spin rate is 3200.

What demo day did you go to? The black tie Is a free upgrade for callaway thats pretty cool.

I went to the one at Legends. I heard the Golf Fest can be a zoo...it's this weekend in Mesa.
I actually was bombing an Xhot Pro with an Alpha 70X better than the extreme (only based off visuals, no real numbers).
I hit the G25 in a 8.5 set at 8* with their stock xflex...on their monitor the numbers were looking very good...thinking of going to PIng next week and getting fitted.

Callaway, Ping, Adams (who had 4 drivers), Macgregor, Heavy Putter, and Im missing one or two others were there, but like I said it's kind of a joke if you want real numbers.

I went all over the valley today in search of a solid putter to change to.


decided to hit up Valley golf center right by my house for craps and giggles

Turns out a guy traded in a Ping 34 in Redwood anser 303ss milled an hour before I showed up, and I walked out the door with it for under 80 dollars.

man that thing feels fan freaking tastic


can't wait to get stomped tomorrow

I also love the g25 but I need it at 9-9.5 with the x stiff flex thing felt awesome

I suggest going to Ping, their customer service fitters are the best thing around IMO

I've never hit a tech. I've had fast12s before, but never found a shaft that matched up well for me.
I've gamed 9064Ls drivers for a while now. Hard to beat for me.

Yeah PING is legit...last time I was there I was hitting out of their garage door bay on the range with their WRX dept, 1 day after Bubba was there.
Pretty sick to be able to forklift in a 5x5 chunk of perfect teebox sod to hit off of.

most 70 series high end shafts work for my spin perfectly or something heavy / stiff

my anser doesn't have a headcover yet so maybe I can hit a 56 footer from green to fringe to rough to back of the hole like Phil did and pick up something cool

A Few thoughts I had this morning.

1. Shouldn't the Krank driver go to the Shortest drive? I mean who is it going to help more?

2. On 17 do you have to get better than a certain score on the hole for the longest putt to count or can I just alternate between hitting my putt back to the edge of the green and trying to make it?

52' putt made for a 27 on the 17th hole!!!!
