Golf trip for 30th birthday

So my wife and I just got home from Pebble Beach. My 30th birthday is coming up on Sunday (3/17) and my wife decided to take me out to Pebble Beach for a few days. I played golf 3 days, Monterey Peninsula Shores Course, Pebble Beach, and Cypress Point. I guess you can say that is as good as it gets. The weather for MPCC was sunny but really windy (Tuesday 3-5) Pebble was cloudy but still great (Wednesday 3-6) and Thursday @ Cypress was great probably high 50's and sunny (Thursday 3-7)

 

The scenery at Pebble is second to none, and the layout and characteristics on Cypress point is just as awesome. I had a caddy all 3 rounds, and would do it again any chance I could.

 

Had lunch at the Tap Room at Pebble Beach one day, which was awesome seeing all the old pictures.

That sounds like a trip of a lifetime! Congrats, and I'm sure you soaked and enjoyed every second of it. Thank your wife, take her to a dinner, and get her a spa day! lol. She sounds like an awesome lady!

I bought her a spa day last Tuesday, when I was playing MPCC, she was at the spa @ Pebble Beach for a few hours, then she walked with me at Pebble and Cypress. It was a trip of a lifetime.

This trip is probably one of the "must-do" in a golfers life. Congrats on having reached that goal....seriously awesome. Were you paired with other groups? How did you play and which was your favorite of the courses you played?

This was certainly a trip of a lifetime, Tuesday @ MPCC was brutal, course was in great shape rock hard firm and fast, wind was blowing steady 15-25mph. I shot 81 Tuesday at MPCC, Wednesday @ Pebble was calm, cloudy shout 77, and Thursday morning @ Cypress chilly the first few holes, but warmed up quickly, shot 76. Played the tips all 3 courses. Both Pebble and Cypress was paired with a staff member, and had caddies all 3 days.

That is awesome.. You must have a well connected wife if she got you on Cypress and MPCC... I would love to play those courses, any advice for possible ways to get on either?

Thanks, all I can say is that someone that my wife works with knew someone in the Carmel area and was able to make a few calls for us.
